LEVEL 1 - Allowable penetration under testing standards the greatest single stab penetration depth allowable of 7 to 20mm with a strike force of up to 25 Joules, which will not allow for penetration to vital organs. 

Level 2 - Allowable penetration under testing standards is the greatest single stab penetration depth allowable of 7 to 20mm with a strike force of up to 40 Joules, which will not allow for penetration to vital organs

Level 3 - Allowable penetration under testing standards is the greatest single stab penetration depth allowable of 7 to 20mm with a strike force of up to 65 Joules, which will not allow for penetration to vital organs
